Sometimes we need some help—a good listener—to get us through the stresses of life. And moving is at the top of the stress list. Talk with a professional counselor, pastor, rabbi, priest, mental health expert, or good friend about your emotions during the moving process. Another person can often offer a fresh perspective and sound advice. A good listener can also let you voice your feelings and sort out your emotions for yourself.
A nervous breakdown is expensive. If your move is too stressful on you or others, consider hiring more of the work done now rather than later paying a shrink to deal with the emotional consequences.
